Guy's Group
Thrive's
Guy's Group is made up of men from all walks of life. We have
white-collare professionals who work behind desks all day, and we have
blue collar guys who can rip into a carburetor in not time flat. We
also have guys who grew up going to church and a bunch of fellas who
are still trying to figure out their faith. Chances are, if you come
to Guy's Group, you will connect with somewhere there. We are just
regular...guys!
Guy's group meets every Monday night at Thrive's Ministry Center at 414 University (click here for directions). We study God's word in a laid back environment that allows men to grow and become difference makers in their own spheres of influence.
Theses activities are designed to cement the following core values into the children attending our church:
In the past, members of the Guy's Group have gone hunting together, completed service projects within the community, and just had a lot of fun doing stuff that men like to do. For example we choose to meet on Monday night because we like to watch a little football after our study time. If football isn't on we find another sport to watch or we just play video games on our Ministry center's huge projector screen.
