Ladies Group
Ladies Group is designed to provide the Women of Thrive with emotional and spiritual support for whatever stage of life that they are in. Among the Women who attend it is often referred to as a "sisterhood," because the members become extremely close and know that they can count on one another for prayer and support.
The group meets at Thrive's Ministry Center (click here for directions) at 414 Universty Ave every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. The content covered is geared towards women of all ages and all walks of life. The ages of the 10 to 12 women who normally attend range from women in their 20's to 50's.
In the past, members of the group have attended the "Women of Faith" Conference in southern Minnesota, raised money for various service projects with their annual garage sale bonanza, and built strong relationships through programs such as "secret sister" and "the sisterhood of the traveling purse."
